Ingredients
  

  • 2/3 cup of dried elderberry
  • 3 cups of water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 inch of fresh ginger sliced
  • 1/2 tsp ground clove
  • 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup of raw unfiltered, organic honey

Instructions
 

  • Bring water, elderberries, cinnamon sticks, ginger, and clove spice to a rapid boil.
  • Reduce to a simmer, uncovered. Allow the liquid to be reduced by half, about 45 min.
  • Strain liquid with a cheesecloth, discarding the elderberries and spices.
  • Add honey and apple cider vinegar, stir, and store in the fridge for up to three months.
