Homemade Sloppy Joes

A simple, yet delicious stove top one skillet homemade sloppy joe recipe that can easily be doubled or tripled to feed a crowd.

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes use only half of the can
- 1/4 - 1/2 c water
- 1/2 c ketchup use more ketchup for a thicker sauce
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to tasta
Add the ground beef to a large skillet, and sprinkle with a little bit of salt and pepper.
Brown the meat over medium heat, breaking it up with a wooden spatula, until fully cooked. Drain grease.
Add all of the other ingredients to the skillet, and stir well to mix.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Serve on hamburger buns.
